Like most not-for-profit theatre companies, the price of a ticket alone doesn’t cover the costs of Judson Theatre Company‘s productions, and our Education Program and Community Outreach initiatives are funded solely from donations.

SHOWS: Think of the productions you’ve enjoyed since 2012, and the new level of name talent we’ve brought to rehearse and perform right here in the Sandhills. From classics like Witness for the Prosecution to contemporary hits like Love, Loss, and What I Wore to regional premieres like Yes, Virginia…and special events like An Evening on the Lanai: Remembering “The Golden Girls”…and our radio plays: Angels in the Outfield, Miracle on 34th Street, and more.

We’ve won the NC Theatre Conference’s Parides Award for Excellence in Professional Theatre, along with multiple BroadwayWorld Raleigh Awards (and 41 nominations). Actors who have appeared at JTC have won or been nominated for 21 Emmy Awards, 9 Golden Globe Awards, 3 Tony Awards, 3 TVLand Awards, and an Outer Critics Circle Award.

EDUCATION: Our Education Program has served over 3000 Moore County high school students through special daytime performances free for students and the school system, thousands of donated books and specially written education materials, in-school workshops to internships for students considering a college theatre major, master classes, discount tickets, and performance opportunities.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Over the lifetime of our organization we’ve connected with a wide array of local organizations to serve the citizens of the Sandhills area. Civic organizations, educational institutions, business organizations, local foundations, local merchants and media, other theatre companies, and organizations serving economically disadvantaged and at-risk members of our community.

How do we keep all this going? With your help. In these unprecedented times, we hope you’ll share your generosity and make a tax-deductible donation; every dollar helps. Your gift makes a world of difference.
